SPRING/SUMMER 2011
This summer, Diesel is outfitting you for the movie of your life.
As the heat rises, Diesel releases a new collection based on its imaginary movie saga “License to Create”. After evoking espionage bikers, Diesel now follows up with a tale of supersonic spies who duel in jets before plunging underwater for a scuba battle. And when they finally relax with cocktails in Miami, action is only a heartbeat away.
Women get equal billing in this motion picture. In “Escape from Eden”, light and soft bleached denim shirts are matched with natty high-waisted leather skirts with belt and zips; cropped jackets in lightweight leather are teamed with long khaki tops and comfortable glossy pants with tight calf. Dive into the next episode, codenamed “Scuba Diamonds”. Treated denim, neoprene and watery graphics are perfect for sand, sea and stun.
There’s a faint vintage vibe to pinstriped denim short all-in-ones while zipped dresses in loose jersey get a scuba surface. The last chapter for women is “Cassis Royale”—truly a classy cocktail of designs. Pastel, shine and glitter are translated into outfits such as strapless short denim dresses with a bleached-out look, eyelet blue zipped and belted dresses and a strapless wide denim dress with flounces, which also converts spy-style into a skirt for those last minute changes of assignment.
