If for any reason you find yourself unsatisfied with your purchase, thebay.com provides its customers with Easy Returns. With Easy Returns, items purchased online can be returned to any Bay store or shipped back to our warehouse, provided the merchandise is in its original packaging and proof of purchase is presented.
Your original receipt must accompany your returned items(s) to process your refund. All returned items must be in their original state, with all tickets attached and deemed by the Bay to be unworn/undamaged before they can be accepted for a refund.
Merchandise can be returned up to
*90 days if purchased with an HBC Credit Card or HBC MasterCard.
*14 days for furniture, mattresses, major appliances and Patio Furniture.
*30 days for Home Electronics and Jewellery.
Refunds, returns or exchanges will not be made on Gift Boxes.
Merchandise can be returned/exchanged up to 30 days if purchased with any other tender type, and the refund amount will be applied to the original tender. If PayPal was used, and the item is being returned via post, your Paypal account will be credited for the return amount. If PayPal was used, and a price adjustment is made, the adjusted amount will be applied to an HBC Gift Card. There are no fees for using PayPal.
After 30 days, and up to a period of 60 days, the refund amount
will be applied to an HBC Gift Card.
Merchandise returned/exchanged without a receipt, will be refunded to an HBC Gift Card at the lowest sale price. For audit purposes, we ask that you provide us with your name, address and telephone number. Valid photo ID may be required.
Exchanges are accepted within 60 days of purchase for (Furniture, Mattresses, Appliances and Patio Furniture.) Your original receipt must accompany the returned item(s). The refunded amount will be applied to the original method of payment. Delivery, shipping and installation fees are non-refundable. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Mattresses are subject to a standard $74.99 delivery fee. The delivery charge is to be applied for mattress comfort and box spring exchanges, (e.g., exchange from regular to low box spring)
*Note: Any purchases made prior to the implementation date are not affected by this policy change. Stores are to apply the old return policy for purchases made prior to February 24th, 2014.
Mattresses: May be returned within 14 days of delivery if item is in its original packaging and is deemed by Hudson’s Bay to be unopened and undamaged.
After a 30 day in-home adjustment period, but prior to 61 days from the delivery of your mattress, we will gladly provide one exchange to correct comfort issues, whether for mattress comfort or box spring height. Please note that delivery charges will apply to your new selection.
Furniture and Appliances: May be returned within 14 days of delivery if item is in its original packaging and is deemed by Hudson’s Bay to be unopened and undamaged.
Items purchased online can be returned to any Bay store or shipped back to our warehouse. Shipping fees apply to items returned by mail unless the item was damaged or broken, or the wrong item was sent.

Price adjustments will not be made for clearance merchandise.
Merchandise returned with a gift enclosure receipt will be refunded on an HBC Gift Card.
Refunds/exchanges are not permitted after the allowable return period.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to exchange it, you may return it in accordance with our return policy and then call 1-800-521-2364 with your original order number. We'll be happy to replace your order for you. You will not be charged shipping costs on the new order.
